Job Summary

We are looking to add an additional team member to oversee the day-to-day science department for our business, enabling us to scale the business efficiently and rapidly.  This team member will provide team leadership, research and validation, development, training, thought leadership, and consulting for all things related to our scientific endeavors.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Develop and refine existing assessment & measures to be utilized in our SaaS platform
  • Evaluate our platform’s effectiveness through establishing processes, criteria, and validation to provide formal studies and outcome findings for educational, employer based, and individual based clients
  • Act as liaison to other departments (e.g., sales, marketing, delivery) for questions pertaining to user experience, scientific principles, assessments, content refinement, and delivery of services
  • Create and refine existing tools in our platform
  • Conduct ongoing research and analysis on competitive products/companies to establish our differentiation
  • Create technical manuals, guides, instructional videos, online training for our clients
  • Create and administer certification and continuing education programs
  • Provide custom consulting services as required
  • Provide thought leadership through blogging, book writing, trade show attendance, writing white papers, and other methods that help promote the business and support the marketing plan

Qualifications and Skills

  • Minimum of Master’s Degree in I/O Psychology, Counseling Psychology (with career development training), or similar, Ph.D. preferred
  • Three to five years of industry experience preferred
  • Self-starter, motivated, with a passion for owning processes and being the “go to” resource
  • Strong foundation in research design and analysis, especially scale construction, measurement, and intervention research
  • Tech savvy, very confident with statistical analysis software, Microsoft Office, conducting research and validating outcomes
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
